AN INVITATION TO STAY IN THE GAME
Your grandkids have peers, possessions, phones, podcasts, and planners. What more could they need? They need you. In an anxious, confusing world, kids need a steady flow of honest wisdom from older people. They need unhurried conversation with people who care about them, not social status or the latest fashion. They need stories of God’s faithfulness through difficult seasons. What they need is disciple making grandparents.
What steps can a grandparent take to be a disciple making presence in their grandkids’ lives? In The Disciple Making Grandparent, authors Upchurch and McCoy, along with grandparenting couples they interview, walk you through
Let this guidebook prepare you to pass along the most important legacy you could ever leave behind.
David and Daniel have captured the passion, the imagination, and the tone that grandparents need as they invest and love well the generation that means so much to them.
—Randy and Julie Gariss, Retired Directors of Life and Ministry Preparation Center at Ozark Christian College
The Disciple Making Grandparent is a timely resource enabling grandparents to help grandchildren learn to love God, and in so doing, they have every greater likelihood of living for God all their days.
—Dr. Gary Johnson, Executive Director of e2 effective elders
We’re now a “welcoming nest” for our growing tribe of grandkids. But in this new chapter, we need all the wisdom we can get, and I can think of no better guides than those in this book.
—Matt Proctor, President, Ozark Christian College
