Paul serves as an adult groups minister at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, TN. His primary work consists of training new leaders, developing existing leaders, and launching new groups. He received a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of South Carolina and his Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His work focused on the integration of science and theology, philosophical theology, and the history of philosophy. He also teaches Ethics at Lipscomb University and Philosophy, Theology, and Ethics at Williamson College. Paul is married to Shelly who teaches math at Hillsboro High School. They live in the Bellevue area of Nashville, TN, and have a passion for global mission work, particularly in the areas of education and poverty.
