G. W. Steel is an American author and mission trainer. But he is, first and foremost, a disciple of Jesus. He has been trying to stay faithful to the Lord since 1972 when he surrendered his life to Christ as a young college student in Ohio. After serving as a local church pastor for 16 years, Steel moved to SE Asia and worked for 11 years directing a training center for cross-cultural mission candidates. He holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development and Training, and is committed to equipping cross-cultural teams to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom and make disciples in unreached nations. Steel is a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and avid sailor.
