Chris Lake joined the United States Army in 2010—just two months after finishing high school—believing he had a clear plan for his life. Over the next eight years, he served in multiple locations and roles across the country, experiences that shaped his character and deepened his resilience. Everything changed in 2018 when an ankle injury led to his medical retirement, ushering in an unexpected season of uncertainty. It was during that time that God redirected his path. Sensing a call to ministry, Chris enrolled at Ozark Christian College, earning a BA in Christian Ministry, and later completed an MA in Church Planting from Liberty University. Today, he serves as the lead pastor of Cheyenne Wells Christian Church in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. Chris is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in biblical truth, and faithfully engage the mission of making disciples in their communities.
