What is the RENEW.org Gathering?

Welcome to the RENEW.org Gathering. This event hosted by RENEW.org, is where disciple making leaders sharpen their vision, strengthen their faith, and connect with like-minded disciple makers. We host a national Gathering each year for teaching, inspiration, and encouragement. We are a voluntary association of church leaders who come together to help each other faithfully pursue Jesus teachings and mission. RENEW.org is a network committed to renewing the teachings of Jesus to fuel Disciple Making.

I liked the diversity of speakers and how everything was focused on discipleship. It was good to hear from people in the trenches doing it, not the famous people who normally speak at conferences because they can draw a crowd. It truly felt like a movement.

The confraternity. It didn’t feel like I was attending a commercial or time-share sales spiel. The speaker lineup was superb, as was the thoughtfulness of the entire organization. I’m going home renewed for service.

Applicable to real life ministry. From the spiritual to the practical to the relational I felt like everything actually encouraged and equipped me for boots on the ground ministry. That’s not always been my experience at conferences.

I really enjoyed the break out sessions. I feel like the ones this year were all super solid and focused on building the fortitude of the church, which is the best remedy for protecting the church and building her up for the next generation.

Great work emphasizing the next generation and discipleship. And having so many young people present was perfect. Also, the direct engagement with the LGBTQ+ issue was really good.
