God to Save — Why Salvation Requires Consent
-
Automatic rescue contradicts biblical salvation. In Scripture, salvation is God restoring people by grace through faith, not apart from a person’s knowledge or desire.
-
Divine love respects human will. God does not force restoration; saving someone against their will would not be true salvation.
-
Universal, automatic salvation is a “non-thing.” Expecting God to save all without faith or consent misunderstands what salvation actually is.
If God is all-loving, then couldn’t He just save everyone automatically? This video based on Daniel McCoy’s Mirage: 5 Things People Want from God That Don’t Exist examines the desire that people tend to have for God to save all people.
