We live in a time where we must learn when and how to communicate without eliciting extreme and polarized reactions. At the same time, too many people who are good at being civil, lack strong convictions and too many people who have strong convictions, lack civility – we suggest convicted civility. We have outlined what this is and how to develop this type of approach in our free eBook on communicating about the Bible, available from Renew.org. This eBook shows us both how to think clearly about the teachings of God’s Word and how to discuss them with civility.
