Peace in the Bible and Why It Still Matters Today
-
Peace means more than no conflict. In Scripture, “shalom” refers to wholeness, security, and well-being—not just silence or safety.
-
God offers peace even in our sin. Isaiah shows God’s grace in declaring peace despite the people’s rebellion—a peace that heals and restores.
-
Jesus fulfills true peace. Through His death and resurrection, Christ reconciles us to God and calls us to be messengers of this peace to the world.
Would it be nice to experience full, complete, at-rest-ness?
