Jay is married to Caitlin and they live in Tokyo with their four children. Jay is the pastor of a church plant in Tokyo and has previously been a part of church plants in Osaka and Nagoya. He serves in leadership with Mustard Seed Network. He received a degree in Biblical studies from Ozark Christian College and a degree in Theology at Gateway Seminary. He is considered by some sources to be the top fan of the Denver Broncos in Japan.
