When Christianity begins to decline in a country, one of the first signs is a drop in those choosing to become leaders in churches. I lived in Canada until I was 36 and witnessed this transition firsthand, as Canada became more and more secular, like Europe did decades earlier. First, Canadian Bible Colleges failed to attract future preachers to study Scripture. Then, secondly, hardly anyone wanted to plant new churches. And now, established churches are floundering because they cannot find ministers/pastors to lead them. Many churches are closing their doors.
The same process is happening in many parts of the USA.
We must address this crisis, as we rely on God.
Will you join us?
The answer is renewal. That means personally pursuing God in Scripture, intentionally raising up leaders, and making true disciples of King Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Renewal is the key to our future. Join us in this focus at our National Gathering in Indianapolis, April 28-29. Prices go up this Thursday at midnight.
Gathering Schedule
Our National Gathering has three parts. First, Monday will start with pre-conferences on effective disciple-making methods. Second, we will have collaborative gatherings on Monday night (e.g., African American leaders, Latino Leaders, RENEW Creative leaders, etc.). Third, Tuesday will focus on main-stage presentations and a prayer focus. Here are the times for these three parts:
- Monday, April 28, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. – Effective Disciple-Making Practices (pre-conferences)
- Monday, April 28, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. – Evening Gathering with Collaborative Breakouts
- Tuesday, April 29, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Main-stage Presentations and Prayer
Gathering Speakers (more forthcoming)
Look for future newsletters where we will announce additional main-stage and breakout speakers, which will include:
- Matt Reagan and his two sons, Noah and Sam – how young leaders can make disciples on campus.
- Ajai Lall and Lashi Howard – how to raise godly women for special leadership roles.
- Orpheus Heyward and Anthony Walker – how African Americans can raise up Preachers/Evangelists.
- Josh Branham – how to call teens to leadership now.
Lastly, look forward with us to the new books we are releasing on how to raise up leaders. And we will also reveal congregational strategies for raising up leaders among everyday members in our churches through our RENEW Certificate in Theology.
You do not want to miss our Gathering.
We believe you will be glad you joined us as we strategically look to the future together.
